Welcome to the Climate Change Solutions: Getting into Action workshop focused on aiding you develop an action plan in the quest to reverse global warming. Below are the materials for the five-week workshop.

During the workshop you will be doing some reading, research, fieldwork, and collaboration. You will gain a basic understanding of how it is possible to reverse global warming, and specifically how you and people in your community can accelerate and expand the work being done to achieve one or even several of the solutions outlined in the Drawdown research. The wisdom of coming from a place of deep connection to the earth and all life when working to reverse global warming will be evident to you. By the end of the course, you will know yourself newly as someone truly making a difference in humanity’s response to the challenge to reverse global warming and will see the opportunity that we as the human family have to take this on. You will have the opportunity to engage in one or more specific Solutions and become an active advocate for reversing global warming. That engagement will include a new attitude, a new hopefulness, and partners both locally and in an extended network that you contribute to, and that contributes to you. And the intention is that this engagement will represent a lifetime commitment – that what gets unleashed in you doesn’t end when the workshop ends; you can be counted on for the rest of your life as part of a larger movement bringing about a more beautiful world.

Clear on how you can stay engaged with others in the workshop, and other organizations that can help support going forward. This is where you will find the latest up to date information on solutions which are in-hand and if scaled up over the next few decades can reverse global warming due to increasing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. There are lots of ways to discover solutions now. For example, you can look at all solutions or discover them based on sectors or sort based on the two drawdown scenarios.
